Oral Examination

You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Sarah Marusek, candidate for the Ph.D. degree.
Marusek's advisor is Professor Don Mitchell. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Mark Rupert, Mehrzad Boroujerdi, Osamah Khalil and Najib Hourani. Professor Miriam Elman will serve as chair of the defense.
The title of the candidate's dissertation is: "Faith, religious rationality and resistance: the charitable practices of Shi'i movements in Lebanon."
