Graduate Symposium on Creativity, Transformation and Culture
(Conferences/Workshops)
This symposium seeks to explore the connections between disciplinarity, creativity and subjectivity; what do our disciplines "discipline?" Is there a relationship between what we study, the methods we use, the shape our creativity takes on and the kind of corporeal, ethical and political subjects we become? Our wager is that the answer is yes, but that claim will be open to debate and elaboration across three Wednesday morning meetings (food and drink included).
This session, Profs. Diem (History) and Forster (English) will engage in a discussion of the digital humanities, with Prof. Braiterman (Religion) acting as a respondent.
