You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Jessica Kuskey, candidate for the Ph.D. degree.
Kuskey's advisor is Professor Claudia Klaver. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Michael Goode, Kevin Morrison, Christopher Forster and Erin Mackie. Professor Jacqueline Orr will serve as chair of the defense.
The title of the candidate's dissertation is: "The Body Machinic: Technology, Labor and Mechanized Bodies in Victorian Culture."
