Reception for "The Other New York: 2012" at Community Folk Art Center

Community Folk Art Center (CFAC) has selected four dynamic and engaging artists to be featured in our gallery as part of the community-wide, multi-venue biennial exhibition "The Other New York: 2012 (TONY 2012)." Organized and directed by the Everson Museum of Art, the highly anticipated exhibition is the result of major collaboration among 14 arts organizations in Syracuse.
Artists featured at CFAC--Elizabeth Leader, Michael Moody, Abisay Puentes and Sandra Stephens--use different media to engage in a larger conversation about significant but often overlooked social issues, including racial identity and urban decay.
