ORAL EXAMINATION

You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Jooyoun Lee, candidate for the Ph.D. degree.
Lee's advisor is Professor Audie Klotz. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Hongying Wang, Francine D'Amico, Margarita Estevez-Abe and Gavan Duffy. Professor James Newman will serve as chair of the defense.
The title of the candidate's dissertation is: "Victim, Aggressor, and Leader: Japan's War Memory, Hierarchy and Foreign Policy."
