601 Tully will host an opening reception and poetry reading with local artist and poet Brother Maars. A Near West Side resident, Brother Maars will perform his poems and talk about his art, which will be on display in the 601 Tully gallery. There will be an open mic poetry reading as well, and all are encouraged to participate. Reception begins at 5. Reading is at 7. Free street parking.
