Radcliffe Bailey, Visiting Artist

Atlanta-based artist Radcliffe Bailey will present a lecture as part of the Department of Art's Visiting Artist Lecture Series in the College of Visual and Performing Arts.
Bailey's most recent solo show, "Radcliffe Bailey: Memory as Medicine," was exhibited in 2011 at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta. It is currently on view at the Davis Museum and Cultural Center at Wellesley College in Massachusetts and will also travel to McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas.
Bailey's work is represented in leading museum collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, D.C.; San Francisco Museum of Art; the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City; the Art Institute of Chicago; and the High Museum of Art.
