ORAL EXAMINATION

You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Shrimoy Roy-Chaudhury, candidate for the Ph.D. degree.
Roy-Chaudhury's co-advisors are Professors Subho Basu and Sudipta Sen. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors, Susan Wadley, Craige B. Champion, Manan Desai and Adam Sitze. Professor Ann Grodzins Gold will serve as chair of the defense.
The title of the candidate's dissertation is: "Engrafting Modernity: Medical Professionalization in Nineteenth Century Bengal."
