You are invited to attend and participate in the oral doctoral examination of Gina Chen, candidate for the Ph.D. degree.
Chen's advisor is Professor T. Makana Chock. The dissertation examining committee will be composed of Professors Frank Biocca, Richard Gramzow, Dennis Kinsey and Robert Lloyd. Professor Leonard Newman will serve as chair of the defense.
The title of the candidate's dissertation is: "How Much Does That Tick You Off? Online Rejection and Criticism Lead to Negative Affect and Retaliatory Aggression."
